Since we opened in 2021, Burnt Orange has been either 1st or 2nd place for the category of ‘Best Restaurant’ at The BRAVO awards. We’ll be forever humbled and grateful to be able to claim that stat, but the real joy comes from knowing we built a place which resonates with so many of you wonderful people who fill our tables night after night.

Burnt Orange is about more than good food and drink. It’s a place you feel relaxed. It’s an afternoon that turns into an evening, because, when the service is this friendly, the atmosphere this easy, the music this carefully pitched and the seats this comfortable, you can’t help but settle in.

We are a neighbourhood restaurant and late-night bar in the beating heart of Brighton, moments from the seafront and just a few streets from the historic Lanes. There’s nothing quite like catching up with friends, so our menus are built around social food: simple, flavour-packed dishes designed for grazing.

Order them in individual courses, as a feast for the table or as a snack with your drinks. We cook quality seasonal ingredients over fire and serve them with well-crafted drinks.

We take the quality of drinks seriously. So, whether you order cocktails, soft drinks, wine or beer, you’ll end up with a well-made beverage in your hand.

The Right Amount of Night.

You can now book a late-night table for drinks exclusively, every Thursday – Saturday from 10pm. Enjoy great music with a welcoming buzz, the perfect after dinner spot to enjoy drinks until the early hours, all sipped over our carefully curated soundtracks.

If you’re looking for a last minute hangout remember bookings aren’t required for late night drinks, and we encourage walk-ins. But if you would like to guarantee a table Thursday – Saturday just click below to make a reservation.
